Under this course you will find student assignments, practices, and schedules, as an effort to help students maintain a similar school routine and continue with academic content from home. This document includes a brief explanation/strategies of every website that we will be using for reading, grammar, math, and writing from home. In addition, I included a calendar with the schedule to follow everyday. Students can practice additional IXL math, IXL Language Arts, and Achieve 3000 lessons if they like. I'll be supervising Achieve3000, and IXL from my teacher account.

Attached please find the spelling words of the week. Students can practice them by using any of the activities from the Tic-Tac-Toe so they can practice every day. Please let them choose the most fun for them.
Adjunto porfavor encuentren las palabras para deletrear (spelling) de la semana. Los estudiantes pueden practicarlas, usando cualquiera de las actividades de Tic-Tac-Toe a diario. Porfavor déjenlos escoger las actividades que ellos piensen que son las mas divertidas.

1. Read writing prompt- Do/What: Circle your TOPIC.
2. Read both sources- 2 times.
3. Underline/highlight three reasons.
4. Hand Plan.
5. Rough Draft.
6. Revise/ edit - Make sure your essay is free of errors (spelling, capitalization, grammar).
7. Type your final copy.

Adjunto encuentren los Stormchecks para las lecturas de la semana. Solo tendremos 2 lecturas ala semana, pero tendremos mas actividades para cada lectura. El propósito de las actividades de lectura de Achieve3000 son para revisar la comprensión en la lectura. Si los estudiantes están obteniendo menos de 75%, esto nos indica que están batallando en comprender la lectura. Al agregar estas actividades, los estudiantes tendrán la oportunidad de enfocarse mas en lo que esta leyendo para poder así obtener un 75% o mas.
Dia 1: Leer historia de Achieve 3000 y contestar el Stormcheck.
Did 2: Leer historia de Achieve 3000 nuevamente,y hacer la actividad de Achieve 3000.
Repetir los mismos pasos con el segundo Articulo de la semana.
Storm Check Questions
Attached please find the Stormchecks for this week's readings. We will only have 2 readings per week, but will have more work activities for each reading. The purpose of the activities on Achieve 3000 readings is to check for reading comprehension. If students are scoring less than 75% as their score, this may indicate that they are struggling to comprehend the lecture. By adding this additional activity, students will be able to focus more on what they are reading in order to score a 75% or higher.
Day 1: Read, do Stormcheck.
Day 2: second read, & activity questions
Repeat the same steps with the other article.
